Guess you know how we will be spending the day......unloading a big Penske truck and a large U-Haul trailer, plus the pick-up. It's going to be tiring but exciting. The guys got back last night about 6:30 and we all met at the new house where we left everything for the night. The guys were exhausted and they had horrible roads most of the way. Larry finally told me that he had a very close call while on the road. He was driving our truck pulling the U-Haul trailer and they were on snow covered roads south of Bend, Oregon. He accelerated a bit going up a hill and the truck started fish tailing and then the trailer started fish tailing really bad. He was spun around in a 360 and ended up in the ditch. Luckily no other cars on the road except for Jason who was following in the Penske truck and saw the whole thing. The other bit of luck is that they were both going very slow and had plenty of space in between the rigs. Larry was able to put the truck in 4X4 and get out of the ditch. There was no damage to either the truck or the trailer, just Larry's nerves. He was still pretty badly shaken up hours later.
So it's off to create some sore muscles and new memories. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2012!

Glad he came out of that okay and is home safe and sound! What a close call! Wish we were closer to help you move in. But think of how nice it will be once you are all done!
Happy New Year!
