Backwards?

The Next Chapter

I started this blog to document a new phase of our lives or...The Next Chapter. I have always thought of life as a book with many chapters. So begins Larry and my's latest chapter into retirement. I have been unofficially retired since moving to SW Washington State. I have gotten used to having my days to myself but I am slowly coming around to having Larry home 24/7! He's certainly worked hard all his life and has earned the right to retire! I keep thinking "we're too young for this!" I am, however, starting to look forward to the freedom retirement will bring us. So a lot is happening right now: our house went on the market 2 months ago and we recently bought a travel trailer. Does that scream "retirement" loud and clear or what? This blog is to chronical our new adventures both as first time RV'ers and as new retirees. Maybe some of you can learn from our mistakes!

Last Sunday after our night in the trailer, in the driveway, Larry went to empty the grey tank. We didn't use the toilet so didn't need to empty the black tank. But nothing came out of the grey tank and instead all our water came out of the black tank! Larry called the service dept. and they said it sounds like the labels are on backwards and will have new labels made for us. I have to wonder why they just didn't put a grey handle on the grey tank?

Hoping maybe another Cougar owner might be able to tell us what's up? Or are all TT tanks configured the same way?
