Maybe every trip out in the trailer will be a learning experience, especially if you're new to RV'ing like Larry and I are. I thought I had been so thorough with the inside of the trailer. Had the coffeepot stored safely, made sure everything in the fridge was snug, removed all breakables from the bathroom cabinet, etc. But I completely missed the utensil caddy in the corner by the stove. It had tipped over and spoons and spatulas all over! I also forgot to secure the ceramic coffee mugs although I don't take all the blame for the one that got broke. It wasn't broke until Larry quickly opened up that cabinet door looking for something. He broke a cardinal rule...open all cabinets sloooowly to make sure things didn't shift during travel. So down it came to crash onto the floor. I heard the crash and the swearing and new right away what had happened. LOL! So that's on my new checklist, secure ALL breakables and utensils in the kitchen. So I bought 2 new mugs and still need to replace the pretty red one that got broke. All are just from Wal Mart but the WM in Hood River is a small one and didn't have the red mug so I got these two beige ones. We love our coffee and I have to have a real mug!
We also discovered another leak in the shower, this time on the other side. So we need to make sure we carry silicone for those emergencies. The couple we met who had the gorgeous Class A also discovered a leak in their shower that morning. They probably had silicone with them!
We also learned that the black tank/grey tank labels are indeed backwards. Found out for sure at the dump station. I still don't get why they don't just put a grey handle on the grey tank. I guess that would just be too easy!
Just realized you have another blog. This is cool. Like what you are doing here.

Thanks Madeline! I'm really hoping this will be Larry's blog for the most part. Maybe once he retires though. I set up a fishing blog for hime once and he would never use it!! So we'll see...
