We found out last night that even though our closing is tomorrow, the 28th, we won't be signing papers until Thursday or Friday! WTH? Closing day to me means the day you get the keys! So now we are going to have to make a lot of phone calls to reschedule deliveries, cable/internet hook-up, etc. unless the builder/developer will let us in the house to take care of these things. Plus Larry was scheduled to head up to Oregon and get our belongings Thursday morning and he will now have to postpone that at least one day. Ack! We had a couple friends lined up to help up there and now no clue if they will still be available. We will get power of attorney today for me to sign papers in Larry's absence, so this might help a little bit. We have our final walk through this afternoon so we will find out if we can still take delivery of the fridge and furniture. Hopefully everything will work out okay.
Things are going well in the trailer. The temps have warmed up a bit, I think our low was 25 degrees last night. We came home yesterday to find we had new neighbors on both sides of us. The spaces here are pretty tight so it makes for close quarters. What cracks me up is that there are tons of open spaces here in the park this time of year so I'm not sure why the managers feel they need to have us side by side! Oh well, they must have their reasons.
