It got down to 10 degrees last night and at this writing we are sitting at 11 degrees. Even though we have everything exposed insulated and wrapped in heat tape we still left some water dribbling from both faucets and those cabinet doors open. Think some folks woke up to frozen lines yesterday as we saw several putting heat tape on their hoses later in the day. We did ours the evening we got here after our experience in La Pine, OR. Larry just saw on the internet that La Pine is curently sitting at 17 degrees! LOL! We also saw a mass influx of RV's yesterday into the park here. Guess folks coming in for Christmas possibly. Yesterday I got a pic of this 5er that has been here in the park the whole time we have. I think he gets curbside service! Nice!
There sure are a lot of people who seem to be staying long term here. Plus there are lots of rigs that just seem to be parked here for storage purposes. You never see a sole at the rig. I know for a fact there was a Class A next to use for about 3 weeks and you never saw anyone until they came and got it and left. There is an RV storage place next door so not sure why someone would pay $500.00 a month just to park their rig. If anyone knows could you please tell us? Only thing I can think of is they don't want to winterize and have some kind of heat on in the unit. We felt guilty leaving our trailer for 5 days over Thanksgiving and had our son in law stopping by daily to check on things. Plus we made sure the park managers were aware and okay with us being gone. Our stay here sure has been nice.
