Wedsnesday morning we went and got the trailer and brought it home. It was kinda sad leaving the Sparks Marina RV Park. Our stay there was very pleasant. The only drawback was making sure our dog didn't pee on the astroturf that is the "grass" at each site! LOL! We have a very nice pull in spot at out new house but it has regular curbing. Larry used a bunch of 2X6's to make a "ramp" and pulled the trailer in vs. backing it in. On one side the tires missed the ramp and went up the curb. Hoping that when he backs in this won't be a problem. Plus we are hoping to have something better to use to make a ramp. Our back yard is huge and he was able to drive it around and back it in to the far corner so that it's out of the way of the construction for the shop, which we hope to under contract on today. We also plan to cover it to keep the dust out. It's soooo dusty here and one construction begins it will really be a mess! Get a load of the blue sky! It has been gorgeous here with temps well into the 60's! I'm sure it won't last.
The trailer was just beyond filthy so Larry washed it yesterday but says he needs to wash it again. Several posts ago I wrote about a washing brush we bought at Costco. Larry has deemed it a total waste of money! So now we need to find another one I guess. It feels good to have the trailer in place and hopefully in about 3 months we can put it on the new pad once the shop is built. Can't wait for it to be done.
